There are 10 bilateral documents are in operation between Ukraine and the Republic of Iraq:

- Agreement on mutual legal assistance between the USSR and the Republic of Iraq (1973);

- Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Iraq on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation (dated 09.10.2000);

- Protocol between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Iraq on the establishment of a Ukrainian-Iraqi Joint Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation (dated 09.10.2000);

- Protocol on cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq (dated 23.06.2009);

ü Memorandum on cooperation in the field of sports between the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and the National Olympic Committee of Iraq (dated October 25, 2011);

- Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Iraq on cultural cooperation (dated 21.11.2012);

- Memorandum between the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Institute of Diplomatic Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq (dated 21.11.2012);

- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sport of Ukraine and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research of the Republic of Iraq (dated 04.04.2013).

ü Agreement on friendship and cooperation between the Donetsk regional state administration and the administration of the province of Basra (from 07.08.2001);

- Agreement on trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation between Zaporizhzhia oblast and the province of Vasit (dated May 15, 2006).

In the consular-legal sphere.

In the field of military-technical cooperation.

In the cultural and humanitarian field.

- Draft Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the Ministry of the Republic of Iraq on Youth and Sport on cooperation in the youth field, physical education and sport.
