On November 12, 2019, the Ambassador of Ukraine  to the Republic of Iraq H.E. Viktor Nedopas met with the Deputy Chairman of the Iraqi-Ukrainian Cooperation Group of the Foreign Relations Committee in the Council of Representatives (Parliament) of the Republic of Iraq. Mr. Biar Dosky. The Parties discussed the  ways of developing an inter-parliamentary dialogue, as well as a number of other issues, including the f development of bilateral relations in a wide spectrum of mutually beneficial cooperation. Both Parties exchanged the views on the situation in Iraq and Ukraine, in particular, in the context of the international organizations’ recommendations.
