Ukraine Since February 2014, Ukraine’s Crimean peninsula has been under Russian occupation. It is a flagrant violation of international law. International community remains firm - “Crimea is Ukraine”. Crimea Platform – a new multilateral consultative and coordination format, established at the inaugural summit on 23 August 2021 in Kyiv – will consolidate international efforts towards ending the Russian occupation of the peninsula. In their work the Platform’s participants will be guided by the Joint Declaration outlining the framework of international policy aimed at ending occupation and restoring rule of law.
