On March 3, 2020 The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine decided to introduce temporary restrictions on the entry of persons into the territory of Ukraine in order to prevent the spread of respiratory illness caused by coronavirus (COVID-19).

Starting at 00 hrs. 01 min (Kyiv time) from March 16, 2020 until April 3, 2020, foreigners and stateless persons will not be allowed to enter the state border of Ukraine, including transiting its territory.

This restriction will not apply to foreigners and stateless persons who have documented a permanent or temporary residence permit in Ukraine.

The regime of departure of foreigners and stateless persons from the territory of Ukraine remains unchanged.

Citizens of Ukraine have the right to cross the state border of Ukraine for entry / exit during the specified period. At the same time, a mandatory 14-day observation procedure will be applied to our citizens who will return to Ukraine from the countries where the cases of coronavirus infection have been registered (COVID-19).
