The Special Representative of Ukraine for the Middle East and Africa, Maksym Subh, took part in the Fifth UN Conference on Least Developed Countries, which is being held in Qatar.
During the two days of the Conference, Maksym Subh
held a number of important meetings with:
▪️ presidents and ministers of African and Middle Eastern countries, including Nigeria, Sudan, Rwanda, Niger, Somalia, Zambia, Mauritania, Uganda, Liberia, Malawi and Yemen
▪️ Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey and Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Spain, Greece, and the Czech Republic
▪️ Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed Al Thani
▪️ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Lolwa Al Khater and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar for Regional Affairs Muhammad Al Khuleifi
▪️ General Director of the Qatar Investment Authority, Mansour bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud
During the negotiations with representatives of Qatar, they discussed:
📌 increase in the amount of humanitarian aid to Qatar to the people of Ukraine
📌 assistance by Qatar to the promotion of Ukrainian initiatives at the sites of international organizations
📌 the importance of implementing the grain initiative of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi "Grain from Ukraine"
📌 mechanisms of possible attraction of Qatari investments in Ukraine
📌 the possible participation of Qatar in the implementation of the "National Plan for Post-War Reconstruction and Development of Ukraine"
