On 21 September 2026, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Iraq Ivan Dovhanych held a meeting with Judge of the Terrorism Court and Head of the National Center for International Judicial Cooperation, Mr. Ali Hussein Jafat Al-Tamimi.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of cooperation between Ukraine and Iraq in the field of counter-terrorism, as well as the development of judicial and international legal cooperation.

The parties emphasized the importance of maintaining constructive dialogue and further cooperation between the competent authorities of the two countries.
