President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Iraq, H.E. Nizar Mohammed Saeed Amedi, on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Iraq.

"Ukraine values its relations with Iraq and is interested in further developing political dialogue based on mutual respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states and the principles of the UN Charter," the letter reads.

The President of Ukraine expressed his confidence that more active contacts between the two countries will strengthen Ukrainian-Iraqi relations and deepen cooperation on issues of common interest.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy wished the President of Iraq good health and success in his state duties, and wished the friendly people of Iraq peace, prosperity and well-being.
