During the meeting, with the  Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Shirko Mohammed Salih and members of the Committee, he had informed them about the latest developments in Ukraine, in particular the beginning of the electoral process in the Verkhovna Rada, and also discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation between Ukrainian and Iraqi parliamentarians.

Among other things, attention was focused on the continued Russian armed aggression against our state, neglecting by Russia of the international law, the destruction of its system of international security.

The parties discussed the scaling up of the bilateral legal framework.
