During the meeting with Chairman of the Committee Mr. Ahmed Salim Al-Kanani and members of the Committee, a number of issues related to the improvement of the conditions for the development of mutually beneficial business in Ukraine and Iraq were discussed, possibilities of more assistance to Ukrainian and Iraqi companies in the markets of our countries, elimination of obstacles to increase export-import operations.

The Ambassador also pay attention to the need for consultations at the expert level, stipulated by the provisions of the Intergovernmental Agreement "On Trade, Economics, Scientific and Technical Cooperation of October 9, 2000", in order to develop recommendations to the governments of Ukraine and Iraq on ways to improve bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
