On September 5, 2019, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Iraq H.E. Victor Nedopas met the newly appointed Director of the Department of Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, Mr. Ismail Shafik Muhsin. They focused on the bilateral relations in various spheres, as well as on ways of expanding the cooperation. On the same day, Ambassador Victor Nedopas met the Head of the Visa Section of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, Mr. Hisham Al-Djiburi. The consular and legal issues were discussed during the meeting. A common point of view was also reached on the need to update the bilateral legal basis in the consular sphere.
